High Adventure

The below activities are optional & Troop 107 participates in such activities as interest dictates for these high adventure
experiences; which are BSA sanctioned high adventure camps. Troop 107 also participates in non-sanctioned
BSA high adventure camps/experiences while meeting strict BSA & Troop 107 guidelines. Past adventures have
included a Grand Canyon trip & sailing in the Florida Keys.



Philmont Scout Ranch

Explore the Philmont high country on a 12-day backpacking expedition in New Mexico.
Experience the thrill of climbing mountains! Learn technical rock climbing, archaeological excavation
techniques, blacksmithing & much more. Relive the by-gone days of the Old West as you ride a western saddle horse,
learn the ways of the mountain man, pack burros and pan for gold in a clear mountain stream.



Florida Sea Base

Imagine thousands of square miles of underwater coral formations, peaks, valleys, and literally hundreds of different
kinds of fish. Florida Sea Base provides many vehicles to gain access to this underwater wilderness: large sailing
vessels, powerboats, kayaks, and Scuba equipment.



Northern Tier

Canoe, fish, hike, and experience the beauty of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in Minnesota/Canada.
You will experience the thrill of a rugged High Adventure trip and enjoy the awe-inspiring, natural beauty that only
Northern Minnesota can offer. The Northern Tier is the canoeing adventure of a lifetime.
